School House Mock? Too much? Not enough?
These bills are killing trans kids and no one seems to think about it that way.
Protect the children? Whose children? Where? What? When? Why? How?
How about let's stop selling and killing kids at the border first.
Republicans seem to focus on clickbait topics and turn them into policy, which is what they're always blaming us for. Meanwhile back at the ranch, real trans people are really suffering.
Trust trans kids. Believe trans kids. Stop doubting, stop questioning, stop harassing trans youth.
We can't protect them from everything, but these bills need to go. If any of this shit sticks on the fan, it will blow into other areas. The transphobia will snowball.

Black history month is here, so let's talk some intersectionality.
Feminist-- Why I identify as one
Feminism is the root of most progress
Misogyny is a driving force behind discrimination of women and LGBTQAI folks
Who came up with intersectional feminism?
Kimberlé Crenshaw, a black American law professor coined the term in 1989. She's still active and working as a lawyer and civil rights advocate.
Why do we still have problems if this has been around since then...? Exactly, my friend. Exactly.
Nothing is perfect. Certainly not social movements, and definitely not this fucking podcast. I dig into some of the problems with how people use intersectionality, as well as how our government ignores it. White feminism does little to help POC thrive.
Ally is a verb, folks. Do it-- don't identify as a verb. You can't identify as an ally, same way you can't identify as a fuck.
Although it is tempting...

I have had various tough questions since starting my transition.
-Whats the difference between being non-binary and being trans?
-Is microdosing hormones a thing?
-Where are the de-transitioners, why did they stop, and what happened when they did?
Some of them have been "answered"
Most of them haven't. I had to answer most of my own questions, which is just how life goes.
Predictably, people hate curiosity. Also, people love trends!
Microdosing everything is a trend nowadays. I go into briefly what I've been told about microdosing HRT from my endocrinologist, but mostly ya'll-- what is your plan? What's your goal? I would love to be able to control the effects of my hormones... but that's not really how they work?
I'm sure I'll lose a bunch of followers for being anti-microdosing. I've weighed this possibility, and come to terms with it. I don't think I could sleep at night advocating for something that I don't think is healthy.

Not sure how anyone could see any of the recent police brutality in America and be able to say that “All lives matter”. Clearly— not all lives matter. Ahmaud Arbery’s life doesn’t seem to matter as much as the cops that shot him. Breonna Taylor was an EMT, her life mattered more than mine does, and yet she is dead—shot eight times. I don’t know what to say, besides to talk about what is happening, to acknowledge reality. Black lives matter—is a reminder, not a movement. Black lives matter, I will keep reminding everyone I know until I see it reflected in our society. Black lives matter. Black lives matter. Black lives matter.
I am enraged by the “all lives matter” camp and the inherent privilege that comes with it. Hopefully recent events will shake these people out of their fog, and if they don’t, hopefully my screaming helps.

This music series is a mix of the hits of 2019, and then a few things I found in 2019, which is not necessarily the same as them being from 2019. Oops, oh well! It’s a killer playlist, features Lil Nas X, MUNA, King Princess, Christine and the Queens, Litany, Verzache, Kylie Minogue, Charlie XCX.
If you're wondering where Halsey, Troye Sivan, and everyone else is, it's because they are on the old playlists OR they are on an upcoming playlist. Message me if you need to be certain that I know who you know. Check us out on facebook and twitter @beckywtghmai
I do not go too much into detail with the artists, they are all pretty new. I forgot to mention that Lil Nas X’s real name is Montero Lamar Hill, which is gorgeous. Damn. Opportunity missed. I really should stop rushing the music series. Honestly? The playlist is what I spend the most time on. It’s very good, here is a link!

This playlist features Halsey, Big Freedia, Lauren Jauregui, Awkwafina, Princess Nokia, Junglepussy, Dai Burger, Quay Dash, Chynna, Kari Faux, Leikeli47, Kali Uchis, Lizzo, and Azealia Banks. I tell a little bit about each and ooze all over the place. Some are queer, some aren't. I am queer, however, so this playlist is queer by association. The artists aren't, however. Doesn't work on humans.

God rest ye merry gentlethems
We talk some talk. Biphobia is the real deal! I go into some brief definitions and then some random anecdotes. Featuring some Miley Cyrus rants and an acknowledgment of Hemsworthiness. There might also be a lot of screaming. This topic is very sensitive, so I had to go full “why’d you say that” with it otherwise it would be boring.
I tried to stay away from the most basic cliches, but unfortunately most things of the best things in life are cliche.

We are back with the second episode of the music series!! Teleporting back to the 1920's, we talk about the women of blues. These brave women freed our souls for rock and roll, and Elvis took all the credit. What a jackass, amirite. We talk about Mamie Smith, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Ida Cox, Alberta Hunter, Billie Holiday (just because duh), Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Memphis Minnie, Anita O'Day, Big Mama Thornton, and a little bit of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan just because I couldn't help myself.
Click Here for the link to the playlist on Spotify!
Or click here! SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
Stay tuned for MANY MORE EPISODES of the music series. We have SO MANY PLANNED. A whole episode dedicated to Dolly Parton, a whole episode dedicated to Tegan and Sara. There will be a Country Queers episode guaranteed. The next episode is going to cover more lady killers who kill me, but from the 1945-1960 time frame.

Sexuality AGAIN--Becky "Goes Gay" for a Month LMAO
Sunday Jan 27, 2019
Sunday Jan 27, 2019
I have a lot of "sexuality" episodes. This one is somehow nothing like the others. We talk about everything from Logan Paul to John Locke. Time to get ENLIGHTENED, YA'LL. Self-concept here we go. Nah forreal I think sexuality is one of the most important subjects we could talk about. So, I ranted about it for an hour. Am I factual? Am I correctical? MMmhmmm ok sure. Are fruit loops made with fruit? It's surprisingly not at all dirty. I don't think I ever even talk about genitals or gonads. Very little mention of weenies. I do tell a rather upsetting and boring story about a straight white guy with an anal obsession. It isn't exactly the most uplifting episode, but it also kind of IS the most uplifting episode. Who even knows with this, ya'll.
Next up is another episode of the music series, but I also have a lot of other episodes planned. Will make them when I have the time. It takes like, four-hundred times more time than you think it does to do one of these thingies.
