Life Check

Life check.

Am alive-- am thriving--

Not sure why, but that's enough to send

This guy into another spiral.

More episodes will follow-- I have a lot I need to catch up on

Loads of completed fully planned episodes

I've been too obsessive over to let go of.

I've beyond had it.

If I hear one more person say they want to

"Look more Non-binary"

I'm gonna flip my lid

I've already flipped my lid ten times just this week--

There is tightness in my chest.

AIN'T NOBODY LOOK MORE OR LESS NON-BINARY THAN ANYBODY ELSE

HOW TF YOU SUPPOSED TO LOOK NB

WHY ARE YOU PUTTING SO MUCH PRESSURE ON EVERYBODY

Also some of us don't want to conform

To your ideas of gender, so

What happens to us and them!?!?

What about looking like a man makes you

Less non-binary than looking like a woman?

Vice versa?!?!?

I've been under the impression this whole time, that we are supposed to be

Fighting gender norms--Not gatekeeping them.

I have had various tough questions since starting my transition.

-Whats the difference between being non-binary and being trans?

-Is microdosing hormones a thing?

-Where are the de-transitioners, why did they stop, and what happened when they did?

Some of them have been "answered"

Most of them haven't. I had to answer most of my own questions, which is just how life goes.

Predictably, people hate curiosity. Also, people love trends!

Microdosing everything is a trend nowadays. I go into briefly what I've been told about microdosing HRT from my endocrinologist, but mostly ya'll-- what is your plan? What's your goal? I would love to be able to control the effects of my hormones... but that's not really how they work?

I'm sure I'll lose a bunch of followers for being anti-microdosing. I've weighed this possibility, and come to terms with it. I don't think I could sleep at night advocating for something that I don't think is healthy.

Whoa there Joey Gugliemelli... whoa. Controversy! Drama! HBO special series Bulk!!!! Maybe a bit too good of a drag queen...? You give love a bad name, Joey! Becky is reeling, in more than one way. Only Ru Paul gets under my skin this much, I swear to hell.

I love love loved improvising my own version of talking heads naive melody. fitting.

Hey Everybody! I love the L Word SOOOOO MUCH. The original series is so important to baby Becky. Generation Q is getting me really excited and I really hope they deliver more serious drama for many more seasons!!!

Where the hell is Max? More importantly, where the hell is Max's baby!?!?!

Why is Bette a cheater, and Tina isn't?!

Is Jenny really dead!?!? Was she murdered ? Was it suicide?

I think Nikki did it TBH she was so weird

My thoughts on the theme song are in the episode...

My version of the theme song is in the episode...

LMFAO there is no theme song to Generation Q because they got burned so bad they stopped having a theme song entirely.

This music series is a mix of the hits of 2019, and then a few things I found in 2019, which is not necessarily the same as them being from 2019. Oops, oh well! It’s a killer playlist, features Lil Nas X, MUNA, King Princess, Christine and the Queens, Litany, Verzache, Kylie Minogue, Charlie XCX.

If you're wondering where Halsey, Troye Sivan, and everyone else is, it's because they are on the old playlists OR they are on an upcoming playlist. Message me if you need to be certain that I know who you know. Check us out on facebook and twitter @beckywtghmai

I do not go too much into detail with the artists, they are all pretty new. I forgot to mention that Lil Nas X’s real name is Montero Lamar Hill, which is gorgeous. Damn. Opportunity missed. I really should stop rushing the music series. Honestly? The playlist is what I spend the most time on. It’s very good, here is a link!

Hey Everybody! Becky here with another episode of Mad About It, featuring special guest Zac!They are a friend of mine from high school that I haven’t seen or spoken with SINCE THEN! It’s nuts! It’s also kind of embarrassing, we catch up and talk at the same time. Honestly might be my favorite episode of the podcast yet. It’s a reunion, with a therapy session, a bit of comedy, and some seriously heartfelt advice mixed in throughout. OH—And it’s about how to survive the holiday season as a queer person in Trump country. We both have trumping parents, and it’s a bit different to be queer and be related to proud-straights. I overshare intensely. All of it is a bit intense. I love it. follow us on facebook and twitter  @beckywtghmai

Here is the playlist on Spotify click the link and follow the playlist! This playlist features Halsey, Big Freedia, Lauren Jauregui, Awkwafina, Princess Nokia, Junglepussy, Dai Burger, Quay Dash, Chynna, Kari Faux, Leikeli47, Kali Uchis, Lizzo, and Azealia Banks. I tell a little bit about each and ooze all over the place. Some are queer, some aren't. I am queer, however, so this playlist is queer by association. The artists aren't, however. Doesn't work on humans.

Oy there is too much to reflect on so I had to just go ahead and talk about it.

It has been over a year since I started all this mess, and I am a bit blown away by how different things are. They are also weirdly exactly the same. It has been nuts.

The regular programming will resume once I’m able to do what I gotta do. There are lots of good things on the horizon. Thank you so much for everything.

Podcasting has been a weird journey, stick around and live it with me.

We are back with the second episode of the music series!! Teleporting back to the 1920's, we talk about the women of blues. These brave women freed our souls for rock and roll, and Elvis took all the credit. What a jackass, amirite. We talk about Mamie Smith, Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Ida Cox, Alberta Hunter, Billie Holiday (just because duh), Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Memphis Minnie, Anita O'Day, Big Mama Thornton, and a little bit of Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan just because I couldn't help myself.

Click Here for the link to the playlist on Spotify!

Or click here! SPOTIFY PLAYLIST

Stay tuned for MANY MORE EPISODES of the music series. We have SO MANY PLANNED. A whole episode dedicated to Dolly Parton, a whole episode dedicated to Tegan and Sara. There will be a Country Queers episode guaranteed. The next episode is going to cover more lady killers who kill me, but from the 1945-1960 time frame.
